Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar summoned Director General of Police SK Singhal to his residence and directed that the goons be caught immediately.

There were 4 police stations on the way and at one place, only 500 meters from the police station, shots were fired. The miscreants did not cover their faces and police teams are trying to trace them with the help of photographs. Senior officers claimed that when the firing started, an alert was given on the wireless network, but there was no action from the police side.

In the CCTV footage of the Bachwara toll plaza, the gunmen on motorcycles can be seen driving without any fear and firing at pedestrians.
