Today’s match was to start at 7 pm. But due to rain interruption, the match started late i.e. at 9.30. Due to which both the teams were given a chance to play 8-8 overs. After which India won the toss and decided to bowl first. Australia did not get a good start, India’s all-rounder Axar Patel bowled brilliantly and from the beginning started running the Australian batsmen into the tents. Akshar took two important wickets in the match. While Bumrah took Australian captain Finch to the tent for 31 runs. Australia’s Matthew Wade scored an unbeaten 43 in 20 balls to take Australia to 90. Due to which India had to score 91 runs in 8 overs to win.
